'Round the Bend Players' presents "Granny Diva", by Dale Whisman, at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center on June 15th at 2:00 pm. This production is part of Summerstage, sponsored by the Tulsa Performings Arts Center Trust.

Marie begins acting classes on a lark, after the death of her husband. Finally lifting herself out of depression, Marie discovers a talent for acting that takes her from community theater to Broadway, with an unexpected stop at Divaville. Marie's rediscovery of her true self is at the heart of this original play by local playwright Dale Whisman.

This production will be a staged reading.

This production is directed by Susan Apker.

'Round the Bend Players' is the first senior theatre troupe established in
Tulsa. Its main focus has been establishing a theatre program for mature
performers. Rita Boyle and Sherry Zyskowski are the founders of the program.
