13th Annual Art of BBQ: New Location & Date for 2010
Formerly held on the grounds of The University of Oklahoma Schusterman Campus and
Harwelden Mansion, we are excited to host the 2010 Art of BBQ at ONEOK Field, the
new downtown home of the Tulsa Drillers baseball team, just east of the future site
of AHCT's Visual Arts Center (

We hope Art of BBQ visitors will enjoy the September temperatures, which should be
much milder than the ones experiences during previous years' events in July!

Any house that has stood for decades is likely to be haunted. That's why the owner
of Harwelden has summoned two of the country's top psychics, to determine if there
are any restless spirits wandering through this grand old Tulsa home. But will the
effort to scare up a ghost -- and the conflicts among family members and
professional rivals -- lead to a few more people finding themselves on the other
side of the grave? Discover the truth about "The Ghosts of Harwelden," the 2010
Harwelden Murder Mystery, presented by the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa. Click

AHCT Partners with Community Service Council
AHCT's new partnership with the Community Service Council, the governing agency for
the Tulsa Area Community Schools Initiative (TACSI), will focus on the following
elementary Community Schools: Briarglen, Clark and Rosa Parks in the Union School
District; Eugene Field, Marshall, McClure, Mark Twain, Kendall-Whittier, Cooper and
Bryant in the Tulsa Public School District.
Forty children will have fun with arts of one sort or another at each site. Some of
them will sing or dance, others paint, draw, or act in a play...many of them for the
very first time! At a time when the schools are cutting back on the arts, we are
grateful for YOU, our donors and friends, who continue to support creative
expression for everyone in our community.
