Art Smart Club to Sponsor SplaterdayTM Open House November 2

October 2008

TULSA, OK - The Art Smart Club will sponsor an open house Sunday,
November 2 to introduce and raise awareness for SplaterdayTM, a unique
initiative that hopes to bring awareness to people and the world through
art and creative thought processes.

Splaterday is an innovative venture created by Richard Bohm. Bohm is the
owner of Tulsa Stained Glass Company, established in 1975, and has
devoted his life to the education and appreciation of art to encourage
healthy, thoughtful and creative decision-making. He has subsequently
established the Art Play Center, the Art Smart Club and Splaterday, in
addition to many more imaginative endeavors.

Splaterday was inspired by Splat, an expressive character also
trademarked by Bohm. Splat started as a paint drop who 'came to life'
after choosing to jump out of the paint bucket. Splat 'started as a
drop, lives as a splat, and aims to be a star to help people know who
they are.' Bohm says "Splat and his friends represent all of us who
desire unlocking our creative potential and living bigger. The program
advocates self exploration, developing passions and taking action."

Educators, activity directors, artists and the general public alike are
invited to the open house at the Art Play Center at 7976 E. 41st Street,
Tulsa Sunday, November 2 from 1 to 5pm, with a forum beginning at 2pm.
Guest speakers will encourage discussion on the importance of nurturing
our creative spirits in these challenging times. Refreshments, door
prizes and studio tours will be provided.

For more information or to RSVP, call Richard Bohm at 918.664.8604 or
email info@artsmartclub.com. You can also visit the website at
www.splaterday.com <http://www.splaterday.com/> .
