Just to give credit where credit is due, last years Theatre Tulsa board president Sally Adams was the person who set up the original pairing of Theatre Tulsa and Clark Theatre. Thanks Sally.
Below ias the cast and crew of Theatre Tulsa "Up The Down Staircase" that was lucky enough to have been honored by TATE last night

I would love for the other groups to post their casts and crew as well
Thanks to all and here's hoping for another great Tulsa theatre season.

Tony Batchelder was "Up the Down Staircase" producer for the partnership project with Theatre Tulsa and Clark Theatre.
Tony was there everytime we re-hanged the scrim, the many lighting cues. Kept us on schedule and also kept a media schedule so we would have early PR and B-roll for the show. Tony also made a very difficult show easier to do..as there was always someone willing to make the final call.
Thank you Tony for your help on Up the Down. We could not have done it without you. |

| And a second to that. Tony as producer was a director's dream--patient and supportive with people, meticulous with details. He took care of unexpected problems (many as always), as soon as they arose, and cared about every aspect of the production. His contribution was invaluable. |

Here is the Tulsa World Article

(excerpts from the article)
American Theatre Company's production of "12 Angry Men," directed by Robert S. Walters, won the top prize as Outstanding Play.
The company will receive $10,000 in cash along with a trophy that is a stylized version of the TATE logo.
Walters thanked his cast and crew, some of whom joined him on stage, saying it was a show in which "everything just fell into place."
He thanked the George Kaiser Family Foundation, which sponsors the TATE awards, adding, "We're looking forward to doing theatre in Tulsa for another 40 years."
This past season marked ATC's 40th anniversary.
A newcomer to the Tulsa theater scene,
Playhouse
Theatre, won the $5,000 second prize for its production of "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse."
Although this is a play for children, it was included in the Outstanding Play competition, rather than the Outstanding Youth Theatre Production because its cast was not made up primarily of student-aged actors.
The company's founders, Courtneay Sanders and Chris Crawford, accepted the award.
"This is our first year, and we're so thrilled to be a part of such a fantastic theater community," Sanders said.
Crawford added that he felt "as if I was among royalty" simply by being a part of the evening and thanked the TATE judges for "thinking that 15 mice are worthy of a TATE award."
Director Erin Scarberry earned two TATE awards. She directed
Heller Theatre's production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Rabbit Hole" that earned the $2,500 third prize for Outstanding Play, as well as
Clark Theatre's staging of the musical "Annie Get Your Gun," which won the $2,500 prize for Outstanding Youth Theatre Production.
